MESH team member nominated for National Award

Angela’s research work has already born fruit in an extended article in the IATEFL ESOL SIG newsletter, ESOL Matters, and a seminar presentation at the Scottish Association for the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language (SATEFL).

We are delighted and proud to share that Angela has recently been nominated by St Andrews for the British Council ELT Master’s Dissertation Award for work with the best potential for impact on ELT practice. Impact here is defined as ‘the potential of the research to change attitudes or priorities of individuals or institutions with regard to the development of policies and practices at local or regional or national levels’. Each university is allowed to nominate only one dissertation to be considered for this national award.  We await to hear the results of the judging process, but already this is fantastic recognition for Angela’s hard work and innovative thinking.  Well done Angela!
